Over a Quarter-Century of Global Leadership
The Company’s story began in 1996 with the founding of the company by Engineer Mostafa Nasser, initially aiming to supply the market with state-of-the-art survey equipment and deliver specialized services. A significant expansion occurred in 1999 when the Company entered the Marine Surveying field by supplying specialized equipment, such as Sub-bottom Profilers, to Oil Field Services (OFS) companies.
By 2000, the Zone Engineering significantly expanded its scope by securing exclusive agencies for highly reputable international firms specializing in marine survey and Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) equipment.
Zone Offshore was established as a separate entity to segregate equipment provision and sales from pure surveying services. During this pivotal period, the Company successfully secured agencies for prestigious names including:

Subsequently, the responsibility for equipment agencies and subsea-related activities was officially transferred to Zone Offshore Free Zone. This transformation established ZONE OFFSHORE as a leading regional force, where it became the only inland company in Egypt providing marine equipment rental and software supply.

Our strategic facility acts as a comprehensive regional hub for business support, offering equipment storage, integration, and testing, mobilization/demobilization services, ROV/AUV maintenance, and specialized client training.
ZONE OFFSHORE proudly stands as a trusted partner and exclusive distributor for major global manufacturers, including: Saab Seaeye (ROV systems), Sonardyne (acoustic positioning), Norbit (multibeam sonar), EIVA (survey software), Hemisphere GNSS (positioning solutions), Tersus GNSS, OceanScan, and other hydrographic and oceanographic devices. Furthermore, Zone Offshore actively supports Vessel & ROV Brokerage operations, connecting clients with suitable vessels and survey equipment for short- or long-term charter.
In 2012, the establishment of Zone Survey and Mapping marked another key development, becoming the Company leading for Geospatial Engineering.
